Nina Muramoto
A chef who shares traditional Japanese culture.
Fascinated by the joy of cooking, for many years
I have been deeply involved with food.
Also, through the tea ceremony, which I encountered as an adult,
I have grown increasingly interested in Japanese culture.
We provide comprehensive instruction, from the basics of Japanese cuisine to tea ceremony kaiseki meals.
We value meticulous cooking that brings out the best in the ingredients.
While accompanying the changing seasons,
We will open a space where you can experience the essence of Japanese culture with all five senses.
We deliver to people both domestically and internationally.
About tea
I was drawn to the idea of wearing a kimono, so I started practicing the tea ceremony.
Eventually, I began to notice the beauty of Japanese culture that permeates everyday life.
The tea ceremony has a history of approximately 500 years, and in the past, it involved using plenty of water, which was a precious commodity, and preparing a cup of tea with rare matcha.
Furthermore, each and every utensil used to prepare the tea embodies the spirit of the seasons and the aesthetic of wabi-sabi, and the values and aesthetic sensibilities of that time still live on today.
The time spent enjoying a cup of tea is a quiet moment that somehow connects us to the past.
The world of the tea ceremony is imbued with a deep appreciation for the changing seasons.
You can experience the changing seasons through the seasonal decorations and a cup of tea.
Since becoming fascinated by the tea ceremony, I have been carefully savoring my time in my daily life, appreciating the vibrant colors of Japan.

About Nina's Kitchen
I've loved cooking and baking ever since I was a child.
After becoming a working adult, I obtained a natural food instructor certification to deepen my knowledge of cooking and practiced a macrobiotic diet.
After giving birth, my son's severe food allergies prompted me to take food seriously and deepen my love for cooking. Through trial and error, I've come to realize the importance of "food that nourishes the body."
I started cooking and bread-making classes in 2012, and have spent time sharing experiences through food.
While running my cooking school, I also obtained a food coordinator certification.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I expanded my horizons through my activity of delivering "colorful bento boxes that nourish the body."
At Nina's Kitchen, we use seasonal ingredients to create dishes that highlight the natural flavors of those ingredients.
We carefully select rice and vegetables that have been grown with care, and we also prioritize using meat, fish, and seasonings that you can enjoy with peace of mind.
The food you eat every day shapes the body of the future.
While cherishing that sentiment, we are creating a space where everyone can feel safe and comfortable.

The message I want to convey
While feeling the changing of the seasons,
We hope to offer you a chance to experience a small part of Japanese culture.
Take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
In a moment to open your five senses and savor the experience,
I hope you can spend some time here feeling your mind gently settle down.
Furthermore, people have a variety of backgrounds and circumstances when it comes to food.
Through my past experiences, I have been able to support each and every one of them,
We hope to create a space where everyone can feel safe and enjoy themselves.
For all of you who visit,
May this be a heartwarming and memorable time for you.
