Workshop

Kaiseki cuisine making experience (spring version)
120 minutes / $200
This workshop allows you to enjoy a kaiseki meal prepared with the instructor, followed by a cup of matcha tea at your table.
Using seasonal ingredients, we prepare kaiseki cuisine by making broth and handling fish. The dishes are meant to be enjoyed while experiencing the four seasons.
After your meal, you will be able to enjoy a cup of matcha tea at your table.

Sushi roll making experience
120 minutes / $200
This workshop allows you to make rolled omelets and sushi rolls together with the instructor, sample them, and then enjoy matcha tea at your table.
You will have the opportunity to experience making futomaki sushi using traditional ingredients that have been enjoyed in Japan for centuries.
In addition, you can also enjoy making dashi-maki tamago (rolled omelet) which makes the most of the dashi's flavor.
After your meal, please enjoy some matcha tea at your table.

Japanese confectionery making experience
120 minutes / $180
You will enjoy matcha tea in the tea room where you experienced making traditional Japanese sweets (nerikiri).
Enjoy making Japanese sweets inspired by seasonal flowers. After the experience, you will spend time in a tea room enjoying matcha green tea.

Tea Ceremony Experience
90 minutes / $150
You will enjoy two types of Japanese sweets and two types of matcha (thick and thin).
In the tea room, you can enjoy a moment of tea ceremony while savoring two types of matcha – a rich and creamy matcha – along with seasonal Japanese sweets.
The rich matcha has a robust flavor, much like espresso, and can be enjoyed as a new experience even by first-timers.
Participants in the Kaiseki and Sushi Roll Program can enjoy this experience for an additional $100.

Ms. Nina Muramoto is a chef and tea ceremony instructor who conveys traditional Japanese culture. She teaches a wide range of topics, from the basics of Japanese cuisine to tea ceremony kaiseki, and is renowned for her careful cooking that brings out the best in the ingredients and her gentle teaching style that is considerate to even beginners. She also values proper etiquette and mental preparation in the tea room, and her mission is to "deliver the essence of Japanese culture as an experience," earning her support from students both in Japan and abroad.
